Antique Belgian Buffet Cupboard / Sideboard in Bleached Chestnut c.1850
Beautiful Belgian chestnut buffet cupboard featuring:
Simple lines and clean panelled doors with a central candle drawer.
Fantastic weathered arsenic green colour on the interior. Strong internal shelves and base shelf.
Pretty scalloped detailing along the bottom near the base.
Original brass hardware on doors and drawers which is perfectly aged and compliments the bleached finish.
Bleached chestnut finish with an aged and weathered look. Very desirable and works in a variety of interiors.
Versatile uses in the home from dining-ware storage to books, to clothing in bedrooms or as use in a bathroom for sink / vanity unit.

Condition: A note on our bleached pieces - due to the nature of this process, furniture can often have chips and splits, as well as variations in colour and an overall "aged" look. This is part of the charm of this style and adds to the overall aesthetic. Do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions on condition pre-purchase.
There are some signs of age and wear consistent with the period of the piece. As well as some signs of old woodworm (this has been treated and will not deteriorate).
None of these issues detract from the overall look or function of the piece. There is a chip to the left hand side of the marble and some light scratches.
