Vibrant Empire style Semainier featuring the original handles and escutcheons.
- Semainiers originated in France in the 18th Century. Traditionally offering seven drawers, they were used for storing lingerie and linen.
- Features the original black marble top.
- This piece has been painted in Annie Sloan's Florence with accents of white wax.
- Drawers are lined in a fabulous printed floral fabric with sweet woollen braiding on the edges.
Dimensions: 111cm w / 51cm d / 40 deep to front of drawer / 133 h / 15cm drawer depth
Condition: Please note there are two slim cracks on either side of this piece. This will not detract from the overall use or general aesthetic, but please get in touch if you have any questions pre-purchase.
